As I mentioned earlier, I was eager to check out the little known white wine famous in this area called Torrontes. I'm not sure, but it might be that the reason it was so good is because I was in the vineyard touching the Torrontes grapes with my left hand and drinking a glass of Torrontes wine with my right!
This wine is a must for those of you who enjoy Pinot Grigio. Without being sweet, it's loaded with tropical fruit flavors and a crisp acidity. So refreshing.
It pairs well with chicken, light fish dishes, shell fish, salads and potato pancakes.
