Good beer, bad scare

Guest blogger Evan Kaye is a regional manager in the Palm Beach area.

A couple weekends ago I spent Saturday morning outside enjoying the Florida sunshine, but the Gator fan in me took over around noon and I had to head inside and find a TV to catch the Gator game on.  I had the windows in the house opened up to enjoy the awesome weather and I thought it is time to start drinking some seasonal beers.

As any Gator fan will tell you, that game had our hearts racing until the final 2 seconds, but the beer in my glass helped calm my nerves.

Lagunitas Brown Shugga is a big beer with plenty of malty and hoppy flavors.  At 10% alcohol this beer is nothing like most of the over hopped IPAs and barley wines that are in that range.  Luckily
the flavors of the beer changed and got better with every sip. Much like the Gators, the beer was finished great and the last sip was just as enjoyable as the first one. I highly recommend keeping some on hand for the next tight football match.
