Tonight we will be hosting our second annual Bordeaux Grande Tasting at the Rosen Shingle Creek Resort. Attendees will have the chance to rub elbows with some of Bordeaux's top estate owners and taste some of the best wines of vintage 2011.

Returning from last January, we will show wines from estates like Ch. Smith Haut Lafitte, Ch. Angelus and many other luminaries!

I have been waiting for this event all year, although it is a bit of work, the evening is one of the best events of the year—not just at ABC, but in the state. Although the wines of 2011 have the bad luck of following 2008, 2009 and 2010, they are delicious in their own right, as proven at our St Emilion 2010 and 2011 tasting in November. Many of the 2011s were showing as well or better than their 2010 counterparts, a good sign for near term drinking, at sensible prices!
