Wine tasting: Paul Pillot wines
Re-tasted and truly amazing again!!!.. you simply will not find better Pinot Noir and Chardonnay for less than $20 (or even at $40).
Paul Pillot is a small, family-run winery in Chassagne-Montrachet in Burgundy. Paul still oversees everything but his son Thierry works the vineyards and cellar while his daughter Crystal handles the promotions and office.
The Paul Pillot Chardonnay 2009 and Pinot Noir 2009 are currently limited to quantities left in the stores but we were able to secure one more shipment of the amazing 2009 vintage; don’t let it slip away!
True to the vintage, both wines exhibit rich, generous palate, opulent fruit and smooth texture; the finish is long lasting.
The Chardonnay will pair well with fish and sea-food dishes, or really good with natural ham; try the Pinot with brie cheese, grilled red meats and stews.
Santé!!!
