This is our latest find. Our ABC Wine Team visited the estate for the first time this past June.

We strolled through the vineyards guided by the owners: father and son Michel and Fabrice Brun. It was a hot summer day in the planes of the Massif des Maures, where Domaine de Paris is located. This part (my favorite) of Provence rarely sees tourists. The Massif des Maures is a succession of forested ridges and hills stretching north of the Mediterranean Sea. It is a part of the Provence coastal ranges. Though reaching only about 2,600 ft. at its highest point, the Massif des Maures is definitely a very mountainous setting with its sudden drops, steep valleys and winding roads. It is densely forested and is ravaged from time to time by devastating forest fires during summer and autumn. Its vegetation is Mediterranean in character; cork oak, pine trees, mimosas and the typical garrigue.

After almost an hour in the vineyards we were ready to taste some wine. The cold, strawberry fruity, bright and refreshing and dry on the finish 2010 Domaine de Paris rosé is what we needed. It felt great after the effort.

The Wine Jury was unanimous. We found a winner.

This wine is a perfect match for Florida’s hot climate, whether enjoyed on its own to quench your thirst, or paired with summertime specials like grilled vegetables, fish or chicken, mixed salads and barbecued meats.

Don’t miss on a great treat priced at $9.99 to become an everyday favorite. Santé.
