"Bargain" Cigars at ABC
After releasing the rest of its top 25 cigars of 2012, Cigar Aficionado recently posted its "Best Bargains of 2012" and I am pleased that here at ABC we currently have 6 of these cigars in our stores. The most expensive cigar on our list is just $5.99, meaning you can fill your humidor with quality sticks no matter how much your significant other allows you to budget for cigars. The
cigars listed below will provide a wide range of favors, complexity and varied strength.
C.A.O. OSA Sol Lot 50, Rated 88 points ($4.99)
Wrapper: Olancho San Augustin, Binder: Conn. Broadleaf, Filler: Nicaraguan and Honduran
A medium bodied smoke with lots of spice and a hint of sweetness.
Arturo Fuente Cuban Belicoso Sungrown, Rated 90 points ($5.99)
Wrapper: Ecuadorian, Binder: Dominican, Filler: Dominican
A medium to full bodied smoke. It's dark
and oily wrapper gives the cigar a well-blended smoke of spicy and sweet.
Brick House Robusto, Rated 89 points ($4.99)
Wrapper: Nicaraguan Havana Subido, Binder: Nicaraguan, Filler: Nicaraguan
A great medium-bodied Nicaraguan puro with flavors of cedar, black pepper and cocoa.
Brick House Churchill, Rated 88 points ($5.99)
Wrapper: Nicaraguan Havana Subido, Binder: Nicaraguan, Filler: Nicaraguan
A medium-bodied smoke just like its mate the Robusto, but being a smaller ring gauge (50) gives the wrapper more influence over the taste profile. It has many of the same flavors as its 5x54 cousin, but seems a bit creamier.
Nub 4x60 Cameroon, Rated 90 points ($4.99)
Wrapper: Cameroon, Binder: Nicaraguan, Filler: Nicaraguan
A wonderful medium bodied-smoke that gives strong coffee notes from start to finish.
Oliva Serie G Belicoso, Rated 89 points ($4.99)
Wrapper: Cameroon, Binder: Nicaraguan, Filler: Nicaraguan
A medium to full bodied smoke that provides coffee and cedar notes.
A special thanks to Cigar Aficionado (to view their full list of bargain cigars, click here) for reminding us all that you don't have spend a fortune to smoke a great cigar. Stop by ABC and stock up on our selection.
