This weekend, February 24-27, will be the 10th anniversary of one of my favorite events, the South Beach Wine and Food Festival. This beach-side culinary extravaganza highlights the latest trends in the food and wine industry.

I remember when the event first started out, being handed tickets to many of the weekend events. Those days are long gone. Now the event attracts more than 50,000 guests from around the world with ticket prices ranging from $20 to $1678 for a deluxe weekend package.

The festival is renowned for its ability to attract culinary celebrity. Think is has anything to do with our weather this time of year? Some of this year's guests include Giada De Laurentiis, Bobby Flay, Emeril Lagasse, Tyler Florence and Guy Fieri.

ABC Fine Wine & Spirits will also be represented at the festival for now our 5th year in a row. If you are fortunate enough to attend this year please stop by and say hello. Our table will be in the Grand Tasting Village. See you on the beach!
